The Humboldt Broncos bounced back in a big way on Saturday night, shutting out the Nipawin Hawks 7-0, picking up their 35th win on the season.

Broncos’ netminder, Rayce Ramsay turned aside all 23 shots for his 3rd shutout of the season and 32nd win, marking the most wins in an SJHL season in the last 20 years.

The powerplay, which had hit a small state of stagnancy over the past handful of games, provided a spark and went 3 for 4, scoring on their first three attempts.

Connor McGrath picked up three points on the night, including his 23rd and 24th goals of the season. Rhett Gibson (7), Alex Morozoff (14), Alec Saretzky (27), Ethan Zielke (6), and Braiden Koran (21) rounded out the scoring.

12 Broncos had their name on the score sheet, six of them finishing with multi point efforts.

Next up is the 8th meeting of the season with the Notre Dame Hounds on Tuesday, February 9th.
