The Humboldt Broncos organization was honoured to present a donation of $5,630 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation this week following the success of the team’s “Camo for a Cause” jersey auction during the 2025-2026 season.
This year’s special edition jerseys carried even more meaning, as the design was created by local student Blake Knaus of St Augustine School through a community contest that invited Humboldt schools to submit jersey concepts. Blake’s winning design was brought to life by the Broncos and proudly worn during the season as part of the initiative.
The funds raised through the jersey auction were made possible thanks to the incredible support of Broncos fans, sponsors, and community members who came together to support an important cause.
The Broncos would also like to extend a special thank you to Gescan for partnering with the organization on the project and helping support such a meaningful initiative.
For Broncos Associate Coach Carter Hansen and his family, the donation carries an even deeper meaning. Pictured alongside Carter are his wife Bobbi Jo and daughter Ellie, as the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital holds a very special place in their hearts.
The Humboldt Broncos are grateful to everyone who contributed, bid on jerseys, and supported the initiative throughout the season.
Together, we continue to make an impact both on and off the ice.
