The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce the commitment of Connor McGrath to Ferris State University of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
McGrath, who recently joined the Broncos in September after being acquired from the Weyburn Red Wings, has shored up the next step forward in his hockey career as he commits to the Ferris State Bulldogs (Year TBD). McGrath has had an incredible start to his junior career. Currently, he leads the SJHL in scoring with 28 points (8 goals and 20 assists). Connor split his two Midget hockey years between the Prairie Hockey Academy and the Midget AAA Moose Jaw Warriors, scoring 84 points in 76 games.
“It’s an honour to be able to further my hockey career and education at such a great school and program. Excited for the future!” – Connor McGrath.
“We are really excited for Connor and feel it’s much deserved after his start to the season. We are looking forward to seeing his continued growth in the Broncos uniform.” – Head Coach & GM Scott Barney.
The Ferris State Bulldogs are located in Big Rapids, Michigan. They play at Ewigleben Arena.
The Broncos organization would like to congratulate Connor and his family and look forward to seeing him have a great rest of the season.
