COMMITMENT: Broncos add Johnston for the 2021 – 2022 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce the commitment of 2003 Defenceman Brody Johnston.

Johnston, a left-handed defenceman from Vanderhoof, BC, comes to the Broncos from the Kamloops Storm of the KIJHL, the city where he plans to call home this off season.  Johnston is a unique signing in a few different ways.  Brody already has Junior A experience;  he finished off the 2019-20 season with the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL as a sixteen year old, picking up five points in eighteen games.

Brody is described as a physical player with good mobility, defensive instincts, and offensive upside.  He has a presence on the ice and protects his teammates when needed.

An interesting fact is Brody’s Uncle, Bob, is a former president of the Humboldt Broncos, and it was all by coincidence the Broncos staff learned that.

The Broncos would like to welcome Brody and his family to the Humboldt Broncos organization and look forward to seeing him in the Green and Gold next season!
