Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament – New Legacy Awards

Two new awards have been announced through the Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament’s Legacy Awards Program.

With funds raised through the Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament, 10 Legacy Awards have been created and will be handed out prior to June 2020, to honour the 2017-2018 Humboldt Broncos Jr. A hockey team. The Legacy Program has handed out five of the monetary awards to date. Applications for the 6th and 7th awards are now available for individuals or community groups to apply.

“All of our awards are based around Darcy Haugan’s Core Covenant,” said Laurie Warford, Administrator for the Memorial Golf Tournament. “The reason we sourced outside the local area on these awards is so that people who have given back from all around the world have the opportunity to apply for these.”

The two newly announced awards both come with a $5,000 monetary donation.

Community Program or Project Humboldt Broncos Legacy Award.

Criteria: The Program or Project will demonstrate a special quality that will make a long-term difference in your community focusing on generations to come.

Make the World a Better Place Humboldt Broncos Legacy Award

Criteria: This will be awarded to any project that encompasses an environmental, spiritual, or humanitarian initiative.
