The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Cameron Grande, a towering 6’6″ left-shot blueliner who adds immediate size, strength, and depth to the Broncos’ defensive core.
Grande, born in 2006 and originally from Land O’ Lakes, Florida, brings an imposing physical presence and a developing two-way game. With junior experience already under his belt, he arrives in Humboldt ready to take the next step in his progression and contribute to the Broncos lineup.
A Big, Needed Addition
Head Coach Brayden Klimosko is excited about the boost to the back end, especially given the team’s recent stretch of injuries and suspensions on defense.
“Cam is a big body with some junior experience and with the injuries and suspensions we have back here – it’s a welcomed addition.”
— Head Coach, Brayden Klimosko
Grande’s size allows him to control space, break up plays, and protect the front of the net — all key attributes in the Broncos’ defensive structure. While his offensive numbers are still growing, his reach, physicality, and defensive instincts make him a valuable piece for the club.
Welcome to Humboldt, Cam
The Broncos organization is thrilled to have Cameron join the herd. Fans can expect to see him in the lineup tonight as he officially hits the ice in green and gold.
Welcome to Bronco Nation, Cam — we’re excited to have you in green and gold.
