05’ Forward Joshua Sale commits to Broncos for 2024/25 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Joshua Sale has committed to playing for the Humboldt Broncos for the 2024/25 SJHL season.

Sale, a Prince George, BC native, just finished his rookie season of Jr. A hockey with the Blackfalds Bulldogs of the BCHL. He suited up for 35 games as a rookie, posting 7 points (4g,3a) and 10 PIMS.

“Josh is a bright young player that we’ve followed for a couple seasons seeing his potential. His size, speed, and skill will make an immediate impact to our lineup. Finding a big-bodied centreman who can skate, create offense, and defend at a high level is tough to do, so we’re really excited that he chose to come to Humboldt,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.

Prior to making the jump to Jr. A hockey, Sale, listed at 6’3, 190lbs, finished his U18 AAA pathway with the Cariboo Cougars program and led the team in points with 37 points (14g,23a) in 34 games played.

“Josh plays a really strong game on both sides of the puck. He’s been a proven complete player at every level so far and we feel he’s ready to really breakout as a Bronco,” said Broncos’ Head Scout, Jamie Armitage.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Joshua and his family to the organization and community.
