06’ Forward Michael Dowdall commits to Broncos for 2024/25 Season.

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Michael Dowdall has committed to playing for the Humboldt Broncos for the 2024/25 SJHL season.

Dowdall, a Coquitlam, BC native, just finished his second season of U18 hockey in BC. He suited up for Yale Hockey Academy U18 Prep in 2022/23 and the Vancouver NE Chiefs U18 AAA program this past season.

“Michael will be an instant fan favourite in a Broncos’ uniform. He plays a fast and physical game and has untapped potential on the offensive side. We saw this style of play watching him with Vancouver this past season, and he proved it first-hand in-person at our spring camp,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.

Dowdall just had his most productive season with the Vancouver NE Chiefs, picking up 38 points (20g-18a) in just 30 games played to go along with 82 penalty minutes. He added another 6 points in 9 playoff games.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Michael and his family to the organization and community.
