The Humboldt Broncos are very pleased to announce another commitment for one of our graduating players.
Broncos’ forward, Pat Lanthier has announced his commitment to Albertus Magnus College, competing at the NCAA Div III level, for the 2024-25 season.
Lanthier was acquired by the Broncos from the Rockland Nationals (CCHL) prior to the 2023-24 season. In his final year of junior hockey, the Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC native picked up 33 points (11g-22a) in 50 games, before adding 5 points in 11 playoff games.
“We’re really happy for Pat that he landed this commitment to continue his hockey and academic journey. He bought into everything we asked of him throughout the season, he’s a really smart player, an elite skater, and always worked hard during his time here this past season. We wish him nothing but the best on his academic and athletic future,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney.
Over the course of Lanthier’s junior career, he played 170 games combined between the CCHL and SJHL, adding 105 points throughout that span.
Albertus Magnus College is located in New Haven, Connecticut and has just announced a move to compete in the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) in NCAA Div III.
Lanthier marks the 4th Humboldt Broncos’ graduating 20-year-old from the 2023-24 season to secure a post-secondary commitment.
The Humboldt Broncos would like to congratulate Pat and his family on this accomplishment.
