After serving a three-year career in the WHL, Jacob Boucher wrapped up his Junior Hockey tenure as a Humboldt Bronco.
The Broncos acquired Boucher through a trade in 2022, and he eventually made his Green and Gold debut on October 11 th where he scored in his first game. His follow-up performance was even more special, torching the Nipawin Hawks with a hat-trick and five points in a 11-4 victory. In the first month of his SJHL campaign, he finished with 17 points in his first 9 games.
“Jacob was a great addition to our lineup. He added instant offensive talent every night. He’s a dedicated kid with a really bright future in post-secondary hockey. He’s one of the first players at the rink every day and was always willing to help out with support around the community,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney.
Before making his green and gold debut, Boucher, a St. Albert, AB native, registered 30 points (12g, 18a) in 64 career games with the Lethbridge Hurricanes, Edmonton Oil Kings, and Vancouver Giants.
Boucher finished his Broncos’ career with 36 points in 40 games, adding 9 points in 10 playoff games.
The Humboldt Broncos would like to thank Jacob for his outstanding service to the team and the community both on and off the ice and wish him nothing but success in his future endeavors.
Thank you, Jacob.
