Connor Miller Commits to Broncos for 2023/24 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Connor Miller (06) has committed to playing for the
Humboldt Broncos next season.
Miller was the Broncos’ 2 nd round draft pick (18 th overall) in this summer’s SJHL draft. He joins Matthew
Van Blaricom and Simon Martin, who the Broncos drafted with their two 1 st -round picks, in announcing a
commitment. The Broncos have now locked up their first three picks of the draft for the 2023/24
season.
“We are very excited to add Connor for next season. He’s had a tremendous start in Moose Jaw U18 and
will make an immediate impact to our lineup as a full time Bronco next year,” said Head Coach and GM,
Scott Barney. “Trevor (Warriors HC, Trevor Weisgerber) does a great job in developing players for the
next level, so we expect big things from Connor this year, and then work with him towards the
continued development next year as a Bronco.”
Miller is off to a very strong start this season playing for the Moose Jaw Warriors U18 AAA program. In
his second season, he already has 13 points (5g-8a) in 8 games, good for fifth in the league. Last year as
a rookie, he picked up 37 points (18g-19a) in 43 games.
Along with being drafted by the Broncos, Miller, a native of Lipton, SK, was also taken by the WHL’s
Vancouver Giants 150 th overall.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Connor and his family to the
organization and community.
