COMMITMENT: BRONCOS ADD LOBREAU FOR THE 2022-23 SEASON

The Broncos are pleased to announce our commitment of 2004 born goaltender, Mason Lobreau for the 2022/23 season.

Lobreau, in his first season with the Brandon Wheat Kings U18 AAA, finished with a 19-2-2 record to go along with a .919 SV% and 2.46 GAA, helping backstop the Wheat Kings to a first-place record in the regular season.

He continued his stellar play in the postseason where he went 8-3 with a .919 SV% and league-best 2.62 GAA, leading the Wheat Kings to the Manitoba AAA U18 Championship Finals.

“Mason is a goalie that we feel has only scratched the surface of his potential,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney. “He’s a very technical goaltender who has had a great season with his club in Brandon. We’re excited to see his game continue to grow in a Broncos’ uniform”

Lobreau was born in Brandon, MB and will join the Broncos for their upcoming fall camp.

The Humboldt Broncos would like to congratulate Mason and his family for the accomplishment.
