Broncos Sign Goaltender Ty Matonovich

The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce the signing of 2005 born goaltender, Ty Matonovich who will join the Broncos immediately.

“Ty is an elite goalie who we are really excited to add to our team. He is one we followed last year with the Calgary Buffaloes where he won goalie of the year. He was heavily coved by dozens of teams this offseason and we are proud that he is now a Bronco,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney.

Matonovich, led the AEHL U18 AAA League last season with a 2.09 GAA, and .928 SV% while backstopping the Calgary Buffaloes to a 15-2-2 record and winning Alberta Goalie of the Year.

He has yet to play a game this season.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Ty and his family to the organization and community.
