The Humboldt Broncos are proud to announce the commitment of goaltender Reid Wassermann for the 2026–27 SJHL season.
The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan product has already spent time around the Broncos program, including appearing in an exhibition game where he made a strong impression against junior competition.
Wassermann, a 2008-born goaltender, continues to trend upward in his development. Originally selected by the organization in the SJHL U16 Draft, he has earned this opportunity through his dedication, consistency, and ability to compete at a high level.
“We wanted to secure our goaltending knowing there’s a good chance we start off the year without Brady,” said Head Coach Brayden Klimosko. “Reid played in an exhibition game and did excellent. I’m really excited to add another solid option in net for us this upcoming season.”
At just 17 years old, Wassermann adds depth and reliability to the Broncos crease heading into next season and represents another important piece of the team’s future.
The Broncos organization looks forward to continuing to work with Reid and supporting his development both on and off the ice as he begins his junior hockey career in Humboldt.
