The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Simon Garchinski has committed to playing for the Humboldt Broncos for the 2024/25 SJHL season.
Garchinski, a Martensville, SK native, was drafted by the Broncos with the 23rd overall pick in the 2007-birth-year category of the 2022 SJHL Draft.
Garchinski just finished his 2nd season with the Prince Albert Mintos U18 AAA program where he notched 11 points (3g-8a) in 38 games played this season.
“Simon is a very fluid skater who defends and breaks out pucks at an elite level for his age. He’s smart, he has great vision and is another young player we are looking forward to developing in Humboldt,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.
Garchinski has already made his SJHL debut, suiting up for 3 games with the Broncos over the past two seasons.
In addition to being drafted by the Broncos, Garchinski was drafted 128th overall by the WHL’s Portland Winterhawks in 2022.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Simon and his family to the organization and community.
