06’ D-man Karson Kerbes commits to Broncos for 2024/25 Season.

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that 2006-born defenseman, Karson Kerbes has committed to playing for the Humboldt Broncos for the 2024/25 SJHL season.

Kerbes is currently playing for the Stanstead College Varsity program in the CAHS where he has collected 17 points (4g-13a) in 36 games this season. Prior to joining Stanstead, Kerbes was nearly a point-per-game defenseman with his hometown St. Albert Flyers U17 AAA program, picking up 23 points (4g-19a) in 25 games in 2022/23.

“Karson is a big defenseman, has a lot of range which is great for his gaps and handling attacking forwards. He’s got good mobility, and we feel is just scratching into his total upside and potential. We’re super excited to have him committed for next season,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.

Kerbes, currently 17-years-old, is a right-shot d-man, listed at 6’2”, 181lbs.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Karson and his family to the organization and community.
