05’ Forward Adam Vigfusson commits to Broncos for 2023/24 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Adam Vigfusson (05) has committed to playing for
the Broncos for the 2023/24 SJHL season.
Vigfusson competed this season with the Interlake Lightning U18 AAA program in Manitoba where he
finished with 68 points (30g, 38a) in just 44 games played.
“High end skill definitely jumps off the page, and Adam brings a lot of it. He’s had to earn and work hard
for everything he’s received, and we’re excited to see that type of work ethic translate with the Broncos
next season,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.
Vigfusson had an All-Star year in his first full season with the Lightning. His 68 points was second in the
league scoring race, while his 30 goals ranked fourth.
Adam was also called up for one game with the MJHL’s Niverville Nighthawks, as well as 6 games with
the MMJHL’s Stonewall Jets where he collected 6 points.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Adam and his family to the
organization and community.
