A roster deadline acquisition has been made by the Humboldt Broncos.
The Broncos have signed 2003 born, free-agent goaltender Jared Picklyk from the Lethbridge Hurricaines of the WHL.
Picklyk comes to the Broncos after splitting this year between the WHL’s Americans and the Lethbridge
Hurricanes. The Kelowna, BC native posted a 3.50 GAA and .880 SV% with Lethbridge before being
traded to the Americans where he played two games, sporting an.894 SV%.
“We are excited to add a goalie with the experience that Jared has,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott
Barney. “He’s come highly recommended, and we believe we have solidified our goaltending tandem
with Picklyk and Motew.”
Picklyk brings 40 games of WHL experience to the Broncos, where he compiled a 14-14-4 record.
The 6’3 goaltender was drafted 148 th overall by the Hurricanes in 2018.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Jared and his family to the
organization and community.
