“We’re Not Satisfied With 3-0”

The Broncos have been led by a veteran group of forwards, steady defense, plus superb goaltending to start the 2016-17 season, add it up it equals 3-0.

However, Daniel McKitrick, after a four point(2g,2a) night Wednesday said they are just getting started.

“We’re a hungry hockey team,” the 19 year-old winger stated. “We’re going to come out Friday, we want to sweep the weekend.”

The Broncos have piled 17 goals past five different netminders in their three games, that’s a league high. They have beaten Notre Dame twice, 5-3 and 5-2. Those contests were followed by a 7-2 rout of the Yorkton Terriers.

The winless Nipawin Hawks will visit the Elgar Petersen Arena beginning at 7:30.

The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League will then hold their showcase in Warman. Humboldt takes on Melville Sunday at 1:30 and on Monday at 11am they battle the Estevan Bruins.
