Wakaruk to Selkirk College

Humboldt, SK. – Lethbridge, AB product Parker Wakaruk has committed to Selkirk College in West Kootenay, BC.

The graduated defenseman played 58 games in the SJHL, all with the Broncos. Wakaruk had a total of 14 points, 4 goals and 10 assists along with 87 penalty minutes.

“Parker provided us with a great deal of leadership this year,” said Head Coach Darcy Haugan, “His work ethic and enthusiasm played a big part in our fifth place finish this year and will make him an asset to Selkirk College Saints.”

Wakaruk will be playing in the same league (BC Intercollegiate Hockey League) as former teammate Garrett Mason, who recently committed to Trinity Western.
