Top line takes charge in Yorkton

The Broncos were able to follow-up Saturday’s blow-out victory over Yorkton with a similar result Sunday on the road.

Logan Schatz, Connor Lukan and Jaxon Joseph led the offense in a 7-2 romp of the Terriers at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

Lukan opened the scoring in the first, he had two goals and an assist, Joseph scored twice and had two assists while Schatz collected four assists.

17 year-old defenseman Layne Matechuk also had a pair of goals, newcomer McKullen Astill scored in his Bronco debut.

Parker Tobin made his first Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League start making 23 stops in the win.

The Broncos head to the Battlefords on Tuesday.
