Another Humboldt Bronco is heading to U-SPORTS.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt are proud to announce that Liam Rodman has committed to Dalhousie University and will continue his hockey and academic career as a member of the Tigers at the U-SPORTS Level.
Rodman joined the Broncos just prior to the 2024-25 trade deadline and has since played 16 games in green and gold, adding a pair of assists and 24 PIMS.
“Roddy has been a quiet leader ever since we acquired him. His game though, is loud. He finishes his checks, defends very hard, and makes it miserable for the opposition to get to the front of our net. That’s the type of player that Dalhousie is getting. Roddy has a bright future ahead of him and we wish him all the best at the U-SPORTS level,” said Head Coach and GM, Brayden Klimosko.
Rodman, a Saskatoon product, has had a lengthy Junior-A career, stemming through the AJHL, BCHL and now SJHL. Overall, he’s suited up for 141 career games, accumulating 28 points (9g-19a) and 270 PIMS.
Prior to joining the Broncos, Rodman spent time this season with the Melville Millionaires and was the 16th overall pick in the 2019 SJHL U15 Draft by the Notre Dame Hounds.
The Broncos are one point away from clinching a 2025 playoff birth where Rodman will be a mainstay on the blueline in his final year of junior eligibility.
Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, NS and competes in the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) Division of U-SPORTS.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to congratulate Liam and his family on his commitment to U-SPORTS’ Dalhousie University.
