2022 – 2023 Kids Rec Hockey

Program Information
The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce that they will be organizing and running the KIDS RECREATIONAL HOCKEY program again this year.
The program is entering its 10th year and continues to grow. The Broncos are excited to continue the program and help grow the love of hockey for young children. The Broncos will continue to teach the basic skills of the game.
Registration: 1st child $175; additional children $150.
Schedule & Sessions: The weekly time slot is on Sundays, starting October 23rd and ending February 26th, from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm.
Dates there WILL NOT be Kids Rec Hockey are:
November 20, 2022: Broncos Home Game @ 5:00 PM
December 18, 2022: Christmas Break
December 25, 2022: Christmas Break
January 1, 2023: Christmas Break
*Note: Schedule may need to change due to other special events or rental.
There will be 3 sessions within the time slot, as follows:
6:00 – 6:45: U7 (2016-2018)
6:45 – 7:30: U9/U11 (2012-2015)
7:30 – 8:15: U13/U15 (2007-2011)
This is a tentative schedule and could change depending on the registration numbers.
Equipment: All participants are required to have full equipment, including :skates, elbow pads, stick, helmet (cage required), hockey gloves, shin pads, mouth guard (recommended), hockey pants, hockey socks, neck guard, can/supporter and shoulder pads. Jersey will be provided.
Supervisors/Volunteers: Parents/guardians are welcome to come out onto the ice to help out with the program or to accompany their child. At this time, we ask that older siblings do no participate in the skates.
