HUMBOLDT BRONCOS COMMITMENT

The Humboldt Broncos Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club is pleased to announce forward Luke Spadafora (’00) has committed to Trinity Western University (USPORTS) for the 2021/22 season.

Spadafora, 20, was an offensive threat for his entire SJHL career, amassing 35 goals and 78 assists for 108 points in 106 regular-season games. The 6’2″, 187-pound winger started his career in Humboldt and was a Melville Millionaire for just under a year before the Broncos made a big move to re-acquire Luke midway through the 2019-20 season. Luke provided valuable leadership and class throughout his time with the Broncos to go along with his exciting play on the ice.

“Super excited to commit to Trinity Western. The mix of academics, hockey and beautiful location is second to none and I can’t wait to be a Spartan,” commented Spadafora, “I’m excited to continue my hockey career while getting a great education. I can’t thank the Broncos enough for everything they’ve done for me in two years playing for them, I would not be here without everyone involved with the team.”

The Broncos would like to thank Luke for his contributions to the team on and off the ice and wish him and his family nothing but the best into his college hockey career and beyond.
