Graduating Player Spotlight: DOUG SCOTT

Doug Scott

Doug arrived in Humboldt in December 2019 and quickly emerged as an elite defenceman in the SJHL. Broncos fans will remember Doug’s 4 goal, 5 point game on Family Day last season vs Kindersley where Doug helped lead the Broncos to solidify a playoff spot. Doug’s energy and dedication to the game rubbed off on his teammates, especially younger ones that Doug took under his wing as they learned the ropes of being Junior ‘A’ Hockey players.

Doug was awarded the Captains ‘C’ this season and eventually earned himself a scholarship to RIT in the NCAA Division 1 Atlantic division.

The Broncos are excited to see that Doug achieved his Hockey goals as a Bronco and continue his hockey career next season. Thank you Doug for your exciting play, dedication and leadership with the Broncos and we wish you the best moving forward!
