COMMITMENT: BRONCOS ADD PERRY FOR THE 2022-23 SEASON

The Broncos are pleased to announce our commitment of 2004 born defenseman, Lucas Perry for the 2022/23 season.

Perry was the Assistant Captain for the CAC Canadians U18 AAA team this past season. The Edmonton, AB native finished the year with 10 points (4g-6a) in 37 games played.

“Lucas is a smooth skating d-man who we feel has a ton of upside to his game in all aspects. He’s a player that really opened our eye and impressed us at our spring camp,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.

His offensive talents have been showcased throughout his minor hockey career, most notably in 2019/20 as a member of the KC Centennials U16 AAA, where he racked up 42 points (11g-31a) in just 37 games, finishing in a tie for the league-lead in points by a defenseman.

Perry is listed as 6’2 181lbs at just 17 years of age and will join the Broncos for their upcoming fall camp.

The Humboldt Broncos would like to congratulate Lucas and his family for the accomplishment.
