COMMITMENT: Broncos add Jones for the 2021 – 2022 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are excited to announce our first signing for the 2021-22 Season.

Jones, a left handed forward from Vernon, BC, has spent the last two seasons in the BCMML. During the 2019-20 season Jakob produced as a stellar point per game forward amassing 38 Points in 40 Games for the Kamloops Blazers Major Midget program. This season, Jakob started out strong with 3 Goals in 4 Games with the Kelowna Rockets Major Midget program before getting shut down due to Covid-19.

Jones is described as a skilled forward with excellent hockey IQ, and has a knack for finding quiet areas around the net.  Jakob doesn’t only excel on the ice, but off the ice as well.  He has maintained a 95 % GPA throughout high school which stood out to the Broncos staff.

The Broncos would like to welcome Jakob and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing him in the Green and Gold next season!
