The Humboldt Broncos are proud to announce the commitment of 2007-born defenseman Charlie Nameth for the 2025-26 season.
Nameth, from Southy, SK, just completed his second season with the Moose Jaw Warriors U18 AAA program contributing 33 points (5g-28a) in 44 games, doubling his 16 points his rookie season the year prior.
“Charlie is a playmaking defenceman that had a great season last year in Moose Jaw U18AAA. One of our main focuses in the offseason is being able to make more plays stemming from our backend and he will be a big part of that,” said Head Coach and GM, Brayden Klimosko.
Nameth was named Moose Jaw’s Assistant Captain this past season and his 33 points led the team in defensive scoring.
Nameth also will become another organizationally grown talent, as the Broncos selected him with the11th overall pick in the 2023 SJHL U16 Draft.
