Brayden Camrud, Jaxon Joseph, Nick Shumlanski, and Logan Hunter all scored and added an assist in the Broncos’ 5-2 win over Estevan Saturday.

The victory was their second versus the Bruins in five days; they blanked Estevan 2-0 on Tuesday at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

Evan Thomas opened the scoring for Humboldt just over three minutes into the first frame. Bryce Fiske assisted on Thomas’ fifth goal of his rookie campaign. Joseph made it 2-0 from Shumlanski just four minutes later. Estevan’s Arthur Miller cut the Humboldt lead in half at 10:48 but Camrud’s 13th restored the Broncos’ two goal cushion and the eventual game winner.

Hayden Guilderson scored the lone goal of the second period but the Broncos put the Bruins away in the third frame. Hunter notched his 17th from Camrud and Conner Lukan. Shumlanski’s 15th of the year capped the scoring from Joseph and Logan Schatz.

Parker Tobin picked up the win again for the Broncos in goal over Estevan. The 18 year-old made 31 stops. Matt Lukacs allowed all five goals on 36 Humboldt shots.

The Broncos are off until they host Weyburn Friday at 7:30 p.m.
