Broncos Sign Forward Boris Kofman for 2023/24 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that they have signed 2004-born forward, Boris Kofman for the 2023/24 SJHL season.
Kofman is a Canadian and Russian citizen who has spent the last few years playing Junior hockey in Sweden.
In 2021/22, Kofman was playing in Sweden’s Division-I of Junior-18 for the Flemingsbergs IK J18 program where he accumulated 29 points (17g-12a) in just 15 games.
This past year, Kofman who was born in Moskva, Russia, suited up for Sweden’s U20 Junior Region and piled up 19 points (7g-12a) in 25 games played for Huddinge IK J20.
“Boris is a player that will be an immediate impact to our Top-6 forwards next season. His skating, skill, strength, and sense of the game are all trending at a very high level, and we expect him to continue to build upon his already impressive game. It’s a really welcome addition to our team, especially with the amount of graduating centreman we have,” said Head Coach and GM, Scott Barney.
The Broncos had 5 players graduate that have played centre in some capacity with the organization, where Kofman expects to slot in.
