It was a golden holiday break for Humboldt Broncos goalie Brady Holtvogt as he and Team SJHL claimed the gold medal at the Viking Cup in Camrose, Alberta.
On Saturday, Team SJHL defeated the SAIT Trojans 5-4 in overtime to win the gold medal.
Holtvogt made 26 saves to earn the win.
Ethan Andrews of the Estevan Bruins scored the game-winning goal in the gold medal game.
Team SJHL went undefeated at the Viking Cup, winning all four round-robin games before advancing to the finals, where they defeated SAIT for the second straight night.
