The Broncos’ top line did most of the damage again but Friday’s winner in Flin Flon came off the stick of a veteran defenseman.
Jaxon Joseph scored once and added an assist, Logan Schatz did the same and Conner Lukan had two helpers. Logan Boulet fired his seventh of the season giving the Broncos a 4-3 win.
Derek Patter chipped in with seventh of the season as well.
Jacob Wassermann, fresh off tryouts for the World Junior “A” Challenge stopped 26 shots for Humboldt.
The teams meet again Saturday at the Whitney Forum, face-off is 7:30 p.m.
