BRONCOS BOLSTER OFFENCE, DEFENCE WITH FORM, KAPLOWITZ

On the final day before the SJHL trade deadline the Humboldt Broncos were excited to welcome two new additions to the organization.

The Broncos have acquired defenseman Jared Kaplowitz from the North American Hockey League’s (NAHL) Springfield Jr. Blues.

The 2002-born blueliner from Marietta, GA, USA suited up for 19 games this season with the Jr. Blues, picking up six assists. Lat season, playing U18 AAA hockey with the Nashville Jr Predators, Kaplowitz accumulated 22 points (6g, 16a) in 40 games.

Kaplowitz gives the Broncos eight defensemen heading into the final 20 games of the season and into the SJHL playoffs.

In addition to Kaplowitz, the Broncos are pleased to welcome back 2002-born forward James Form from the WHL’s Spokane Chiefs.

Form, a 2017 draft pick of the Humboldt Broncos, spent the last three seasons with the Winnipeg Ice of the WHL, picking up 15 points in 82 games. He was recently traded to the Spokane Chiefs where he dressed for nine more WHL games, scoring one goal.

Form played one game for the Broncos in 2018/19 before making the jump back to the WHL.

The Broncos would like to welcome both Jared and James to the organization and community.
