The Humboldt Broncos are pleased to announce the commitment of forward Ben Dnes to the organization.
Dnes, a product of Winnipeg, Manitoba, brings a strong combination of speed, physicality, and leadership to the Broncos lineup. At just 16 years old, he served as captain of the U18 Prep AAA program at RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg — a testament to both his character and presence on and off the ice.
“Ben came to camp and plays a Marik Mamic-type of game,” said Head Coach, Brayden Klimosko. “He’s fast and physical, and seemed to gel nicely with the other recruits. He brings a different style of player than what we have signed already.”
Dnes’ ability to play with pace while adding a physical edge makes him a valuable addition to the Broncos’ growing roster. His leadership experience at a young age, combined with his compete level, will be an asset as he continues to develop at the Junior A level.
The Broncos organization is excited to welcome Ben and his family to Humboldt and looks forward to seeing his impact in the green and gold.
