Another dominant home-ice win for the Humboldt Broncos.

The Broncos and Melville Millionaires squared off for the final time this season on Wednesday, February 23rd. The Millionaires came into the Elgar Petersen Arena as the only team with a winning record against the Broncos this season, taking two of the prior three meetings. Humboldt closed the vault door from beginning to end, picking up a 6-0 win and improved to 41-13-0-0 on the season.

Rayce Ramsay put together a stellar performance, stopping all 29 shots faced for his 5th shutout of the season. The 20-year-old netminder secured his 38th win on the season, which is the most among any Jr-A goaltender in Canada.

His teammates up front also put on a show, lighting the lamp twice in each period, and eight different Broncos finished with multi point efforts.

Alex Morozoff bookended the scoring with the first and last goals of the game. Connor McGrath picked up his 32nd goal to move into a second-place tie in league goal scoring. He also added an assist to improve to 79 points, the most in the SJHL.

The win moves the Broncos within two points of first place in the SJHL.

The Broncos are back on the ice when they travel to the Battlefords to take on the North Stars on Saturday, February 26th.
