05’ Goalie Aidan Fischer commits to Broncos for 2023/24 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that 05’ Goaltender Aidan Fischer has committed to playing for the Broncos for the 2023/24 SJHL season.

Fischer competed this past season with the Burnaby Winter Club in the CSSHL U18 program in BC.

The North Vancouver, BC native finished with a 15-4-0 record to go along with a 2.16 GAA and a .920 SV% and was named a CSSHL Second-Team All-Star.

“Fischer is a bright young goaltender who came highly recommended. He had a spectacular season with a really good team in Burnaby. He’s agile, fast on his side-to-side movements, and will be a great fit with our returning starting goaltender in Motew,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.

Before transitioning to the CSSHL, Fischer suited up for the Vancouver NW Hawks U18 AAA program as a rookie in 2021-22, where he led the league with a 1.82 GAA in 24 games played.

The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Aidan and his family to the organization and community.
