05’ Forward Braden Nienaber commits to Broncos for 2023/24 Season.

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Braden Nienaber (05) has committed to playing for
the Broncos for the 2023/24 SJHL season.
Nienaber, a Saskatoon, AB native, is currently playing with the Saskatoon Contacts U18 AAA program
where he’s collected 13 goals and 14 assists in 36 games played.
“We are vey excited to add Braden to our forward group for next season. We have followed his
development closely for a few years now. What stands out immediately is his compete level with and
without the puck,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.
The Saskatoon Contacts are about to embark on their opening round playoff series against the Moose
Jaw Warriors after finishing 3 rd place in the league with a 27-13-4 record.
Nienaber also has local ties to the Humboldt community with family connections in Muenster and
Annaheim.
Braden was called up for one game this season with the Broncos on December 16 th against the
Kindersley Klippers
