05’ Defenseman Parker Carrier commits to Broncos for 2023/24 Season

The Humboldt Broncos are happy to announce that Parker Carrier (05) has committed to playing for the
Broncos for the 2023/24 SJHL season.
Carrier, a Calgary, AB native, competed this season with the Calgary Royals U18 AAA program where he
collected 10 points (2g, 8a) in 19 regular season games played.
“Parker is a D-man we’ve had our eyes on for a long time. He’s the prototypical new-aged blueliner
who’s a fluid skater with offensive instincts, while also defending at a high level. We, as an organization,
are ecstatic that Parker and his family decided to be a Bronco over the other opportunities he’s
received,” said Head Coach and GM Scott Barney.
The Royals were eliminated from the Divisional Semi-finals of the 2023 playoffs and Carrier scored twice
in their six playoff games. Parker has also shown keen discipline accumulating only 18 penalty minutes
throughout the 25 combined games.
“Parker is an elite level defenseman in the AEHL U18 AAA system. It’s been great to follow his progress,
see his strong development curve, and get to know his character off the ice as well,” said Humboldt
Broncos Head Scout, Jamie Armitage.
Carrier also AP’d with the AJHL’s Brooks Bandits this season.
The Humboldt Broncos and the City of Humboldt would like to welcome Parker and his family to the
organization and community.
